Victim outreach communications professional

You will play a vital role in ensuring all victims and survivors of domestic abuse have access to reliable information, even if they can’t speak French.

If you have perfect written skills in the following languages, you could make a huge difference in someone’s life:

Mission

• Produce a guide of sensitive and appropriate terms in your language for translators and interpreters
• Carry out small translations for social media
• Proofread translations (checking for appropriate and sensitive terms)
• Establish partnerships with local actors in the fight against domestic violence in other countries
• Participate in the development of the Women for Women’s France intercultural communication strategy

Ideal profile

• Perfect written skills in one of the languages above
• Excellent command of English or French
• Ability to be proactive and ask for help to deliver the mission, with little supervision
• Ability to prioritise volunteering with your other activities, and adhere to missions schedules defined together

Commitment 

• 5 hours a week, for a minimum of 6 months
• Participation is WFWF’s virtual monthly meetings
• Working remotely from the place of your choice
