2022 Annual Impact Report

In 2022, Women for Women France transformed the services available to foreign-born people confronted with domestic abuse and gender-based violence in France.

Published on 16/09/2023

Key results in 2022

  • Launched a world-first national Multilingual Online Resource Centre for people subjected to domestic abuse and the professionals supporting them. Available in 15 languages.
  • Ran a France-wide information campaign on national television, in cinemas, and in public spaces to promote the new Multilingual Online Resource Centre.
  • Worked closely with French institutions and ministries to improve the accessibility of public services for all victims, taking into account intersectional factors such as French linguistic ability.
  • Ran public and inter-sector awareness-raising campaigns about coercive control, a devastating form of domestic abuse. Successfully put the criminalisation of coercive control on the national and political agenda.

Women for Women France would like to thank all its partners and supporters. It is thanks to our partners that we were able to deliver on creating a safer France for all women, regardless of their level of French, migration status, or country of origin.

The work doesn't stop there. Women for Women France is launching new nationwide services and campaigns in 2023 and beyond.
