Women for Women France (WFWF), and partners, had been working on delivering its national Multilingual Online Resource Centre (MORC) for 12 months prior to its launch.

To not create any additional confusion for victim-survivors and their families, WFWF did not widely communicate about the Resource Centre prior to its launch.

As of August, Women for Women France has launched a nation-wide campaign to let people confronted with domestic abuse where they can turn to for information and support.

All around the country at petrol stations, public transport, shopping malls, supermarkets and highways Women for Women France billboards can be found.

Women for Women France would like to thank our valued partners for this project who came together in solidarity with all victims of domestic abuse in France.

Sarah McGrath, CEO of WFWF, said of the strategy “while online campaigns are vital, we know abusers often control and monitor their victim’s devices. Reaching people in their everyday lives was therefore central to our approach.”

“This campaign shows us once again how the private sector has a vital role to play in the support of survivors. I would like to thank our partners for supporting victims in France, no matter what language they speak.” President of Women for Women France, Yasmine El Kotni.
